With our new Sram T-Type Derailleur Alu Cage Checker you can now easily check if your aluminium T-Type cage is bend or not after a crash.
The stock cage is bend by design, so it’s almost impossible to see if it’s still within factory specification or not. 

✓ Fits all Sram AXS T-Type rear derailleurs with an aluminium cage (GX – X0 – XX  – S1000).
✓ Uses the cage frame and position of the Jockey Wheels to check if they still align.
✓ Fully 3D printed in from carbon filled nylon.

 

Make sure to put the locker pin into the “B” setting before using the tool.

The Cage Checker doesn’t fit like shown in the video on the mechanical T-Type derailleurs. To check a mechanical T-Type cage you will have to remove the cage from the derailleur first.

    Je ne m'attendais pas à utiliser l'outil T-type aussi vite ! Une semaine après mon achat, j'ai eu une branche coincée dans ma roue qui a déréglé mon dérailleur et tordu la chape intérieure. Mais avec l'outil, j'ai pu vérifier que la chape principale n'était pas abimée. Très efficace ! Damned, je n'ai pas fait de photo. Mais je reviendrai !
